Crowley is taking a month-long nap while I sort out the plethora of real life issues I have going on at the moment.

I will be 100% away from Dreamwidth during this time.

Can someone please drop me a message during activity check so I can check in, I would appreciate it.

BACKTAGGING: I also move slow due to my complicated RL. Don't mind taking our time.
THREADHOPPING:
FOURTHWALLING: I don't like my character knowing he's fiction.
ROMANCE: Always yes for Aziraphale, otherwise let's talk about it!
MINDREADING: shoot me a message and we'll work out how.
MANIPULATION: message me and we'll work out how.
INJURY:
FIGHTING: here for it.
KILLING: You can potentially kill this character, but it would need to be discussed extensively first.

CHARACTER INFO
Character Name: Crowley
Age: >6000, looks like he is in his mid-forties
Canon:Good Omens

World Description: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Good_Omens_(TV_series)

History: https://goodomens.fandom.com/wiki/Crowley

Death: In an alternative ending to his canon, Crowley was tried and put to death in Hell at the end of the series, rather than escaping with Aziraphale. He was sentenced for treason and murdering a Duke of Hell, carried out by death by holy water. He was utterly obliterated.

What are your plans for this character in-game? I plan on having Crowley with a decided need to escape and get back to Earth. He believes that escaping the afterlife is a very real thing that can happen, and he wants to do this. He will want to go back and save the Earth from what is definitely another bout of armageddon. In this, he will want to take with him any friends he might make along the way. Crowley is a difficult character to make friends, but I want to explore his abilities to make friends and enemies and develop relationships outside of castmates.

What aspects of this game and/or its setting are you most interested in having this character engage with? Interested in the afterlife aspect of this game. As Crowley is a creature who deals heavily in the afterlife, being told that this is what comes after, not heaven or hell, is interesting to me. I'd like to see how he reacts to being forced to work with others in order to make it, and to save/fix this world.

How does your character generally get along with other people? He dislikes all other people apart from his companion on Earth, Aziraphale. He is known to scare, threaten, or be generally unpleasant to other people so they will leave him alone. That being said, he loves children and finds them to be innocent and worthy of caring for. He also likes creative people who make things and create.

What is your character's mental state upon entering the game? Crowley always pretends to be cool and confident, but he has just lost the biggest battle he will ever face: He lost to Hell. They obliterated him and his best friend, to his knowledge, was also killed in Heaven. He's lost everything and he hasn't got much to do but go back and either get revenge or prevent something like this from ever happening again.

Skills/Abilities: Flight (wings), minor demonic miracles: includes healing of small injuries, creation of petrol or fuel in a vehicle, stopping the spoilage of food, appearing and disappearing short distances, and turning all discs left in a car into Queen albums after a fortnight. He does not need to eat or drink in order to live. He can turn into a very large (but relatively harmless) snake, and thus has slitted eyes, which he covers with dark sunglasses. With permissions, he can sense negative feelings and choices around him (for example, if someone is having sinful thoughts, etc. he would know that was what was happening, but not the thoughts themselves.) Crowley does have other abilities in canon, but I am nerfing them in order to make him a more reasonable character in-game.

Flaws/Weaknesses: Physical: Crowley is completely susceptible to all things holy. Holy water, holy light, blessed and consecrated ground. All of these things either hurt him or kill him. He generates an evil aura and scent, which can be detected by those who know how.
Mental: Vain, acerbic, self-absorbed, not self-aware, not the brightest bulb in the box, very attached to vices.

Personality: Crowley is soft: He is lazy, he is unambitious, he is very attached to his vices. At the same time, he is very upset about having become a Fallen Angel and will opine to the Almighty about it for hours. He is not self-aware in the slightest. And, most importantly, Crowley is, in reality, a fairly stupid person who makes very stupid decisions. He could not be deemed "competent" by anyone.
However, unlike other demons, Crowley has imagination. He likes to answer questions creatively, likes to have others solve problems for him. He likes to watch humans grow, likes to see them develop and create new technology and things around him. With his imagination, he can make a lot of things happen. He can also create a lot of new problems for himself.
He doesn't like a lot of people, apart from one particular person he wasn't supposed to like at all (his companion on Earth, Aziraphale). He can make friends, he just generally doesn't want to.

Items: Clothing at time of death, three pairs of sunglasses, mobile phone

Follows this.

Crowley fell asleep before dawn. And, which was rather unlike him, he did dream. He dreamt of the flamethrower, of the things it could do. He dreamt of watching all of the angels at the far end of the flamethrower, watching them all burned up to crispy little cinders through the power of Hellfire.

And then he imagined the barrel of the flamethrower, pointed at Aziraphale. The angel stood there, hands up, innocent of any charges, but with the weapon that Crowley had made facing him. And then, the trigger, and then----

Crowley jerks awake with a start. He didn't dream a lot. But when he did, it was rarely pleasant. Dawn was beginning to stream in through the windows. The miracle would only last until morning, they didn't have much time.

"Angel?"

They couldn't just teleport themselves there. Any miracles, demonic or otherwise, would attract too much attention. No, Crowley was actually going to have to sit there, plugging their information into an online search engine, and do it all manually. Fluctuating airline prices were demonic work, and right now a trip to Japan was over six thousand pounds more expensive than if he had bought it three days earlier, which was totally outrageous. Crowley didn't know a lot about money except what it made men do to each other, he'd never had to. But now, making money appear out of nothing could turn the wrong eye on them if he wasn't careful.

Luckily, he had quite a few credit cards that never needed paying or had a limit on them. They would work in a pinch for a moment like this. He didn't know if that sort of perk-of-being-a-demon could ever be taken away from him, but he hoped not.

The flight itself was a long one, and Crowley settled himself in for it by making sure they were flying at least first class. That way they could see everyone coming at them and have a few glasses of wine on the journey.

"I don't think they know about these passports," Crowley says. "They might, but I doubt it. I had them made back during the last World War, just kept them in good condition."

The second World War was something that Crowley took responsibility for, but he hated every moment of it, and what his side did to make it worse made him sick. He was more than prepared to hide away if he needed to when things went wrong back then. And, at the time, he had also created a passport for Aziraphale, in case he wanted to come along. No other reason for that, he told himself.
