The angel stares up at him when he lingers, finding himself in another kiss before he even knows it. There's only a muffled beginning of a word, a few seconds of startled confusion, and then--
--and then he just...closes his eyes. Holds onto his jacket, gently, and, for a moment, he wants to keep forgetting. Keep himself from all the idle comments that mean nothing and go nowhere, from advertising the looks he can't make himself keep. For this moment, just this.
